# Setting up Scratch Cards

### How do customers open the popup?

The button will show on the Product Page aswell as the Thank you page after payment

### Setting up Scratch Cards Minigame

Once the Minigame feature is setup on your website you will be able to make any instant prize competition use the scratch card minigame from the Edit Product page.

#### **To do this, follow the below steps**

1. Go to your product list and click Edit on the Competition you want to apply scratch cards to
2. Scroll down on the right hand side until you find the Mini Games Box

3. Click Choose a game and select Scratch Cards

4. Now whenever someone buys a ticket, they’ll be given a scratch card, they’ll then need to scratch the card to see if they won instead of the original instant prize method.

### Customising your Scratch Cards

There are some ways to customise your scratch cards, such as adding Sad or Happy images which will reflect if they have won or not. These images are shown when they scratch off the image and before knowing if they have won.

If no image is selected it will default to the product image everytime they scratch a card.

You’ll find the settings for Scratch Cards under “Minigames” in your Admin panel

Upload images to your Media library and then paste the images in the large boxes depending on if it is a Postive or Negative image.

You can also set a default SVG for the scratch cards that will replace the grey image shown before a customer scratches.

We recommend asking us for help with this if you are stuck on how to add your logo for example to the grey scratch image.

### Free Scratches/Spins

Where you set the minigame mode you can also set an optional feature to allow people to claim a free scratch/spin.
